Today, I wanted to talk about science fiction and even superhero comic books.

True science fiction medium and comic books of old and good sci fi movies and paperbacks had good moral principles and inspiring messages. They challenged us to become creative, use our imagination and entertained us with necessary Escapism once in a while.  The authors had a different view of what the future should look like, AS COMPARED TO WHAT OUR GOVERNMENT, AND OUR CORPORATIONS AND MILITARY WANTED OUR FUTURE TO LOOK LIKE.

The key here, is to love to read. Most people back then, did not mind reading and it was good for them.  CREATIVITY and a  IMAGINATION  is extremely important in this immoral and brain dead (too-much-TV-no-self-thinking medium) culture.  We are to be leaders and create new or truthful ideas.  When I was growing up, when I had pain in my life, I could always escape a bit and read about my heroes in Marvel or DC.  And the colors were important too.  They showed art and "life" and vibrancy of life.  Too many times, nowadays, the superhero movie industry and even modern comics tries to preach way too much for us to "ACCEPT" the dark, gritty, colorless way of current life and preach to us that heroes are not good things to have.  Don't let anyone tell you that colors are wimpy or nerdy.  We need a world of color.  In that sense, women are way more intelligent than men.  I like bright colors, not grey, silver and black, get it?!

You know, when you read and look at all the wealth of creative ideas that came out of this genre I am talking about in the 60s and 70s ( transportation, buildings, health issues ) and even Marvel Comic books (Kirby years, Eternals, Fantast Four, INhumans, Ironman, SHIELD AND even DC space stations and superheroes in space)  you realize:

WHY DON'T ALL these things exist now?  There is the technology nowadays to drastically improve our society, culture and health issues and pollution.  BUT THE GREEDY POWERFUL ELITES and your government and military are always the first ones to hijack and grab (I mean grab!!) the powerful inventions or devices WE have created! They are fearful of losing power, and money.  This is why Tessla was eliminated and his ideas never got to the people on the street like us.  Its all about power and money.  This is why the world of the comic books and science fiction stories of the 70s through the millenium WILL NEVER HAPPEN.

It is because we ALLOW those selfish and "capitalism" and "socialism" Elites who rule over us to rob our joy and freedom to enjoy the very things WE have created.  The military and our government are extremely JEALOUS, FEARFUL of the people.  It is all about keeping their money and power over us.

But yes, I do remember the joys I had of reading comic books and science fiction novels because they gave me hope for the future and escapism from my problems, depression and disappointment from the current world and its system.  I was a kid and did not think too deeply about my world and its future challenges to me.  I trusted my parents to protect me and shelter me.

Now , I know differently.  If you are not making a lot of money, you are not going to be happy or be able to do a lot of things, like go to conventions or go to a lot of baseball games or have a good vacation.  All these things cost money.  Yes, I trust in Christ and do not believe in worldliness.  But do not be fooled!  If you are going to have to live in this world more than Jesus' world (out in nature, not in debt, not in the cities, doing hours of church work and charity), then finding happiness will depend on how much your budget allows you to buy things, collect things, or spend gas money going to a good park, which may not be near where you live.
